Sup! From Wiltshire
I've previously owned 2 SJ's, sold both through lack of use. After a few years without a 4x4 decided to get a Vitara that so far I have been using as a daily hack. Something to beat about and have fun in.
Picked up a G16A Vit, seems solid underneath, a few rust spots around the body but nothing too tragic...
Its had a 2" lift (looks like spring spacers) and has got pro comp shocks on the back.
So far I have: changed the cam belt, given it an oil, filter and coolant change, fit some spot lights on the front, driven it.
So far plans are: see if I can make it handle better at speeds over 50mph, tidy up the rusty patches, get hardcore bumpers/winch bumper, investigate a noise in the gearbox.
Anything else it needs as I discover them
I hope to go play in it, and plan on going on some camping adventures in the summer if I can find some reasonable routes
If there are any meets in or around Wiltshire I am always up for meets etc
