Speedo and wiper motor

Hello all I'm having trouble with my sj first of all it won't tell me the speed when I'm driving is there anything on the gearbox which should be connected? And also my windscreen wiper motor isn't operating when turning them on any ideals?

im pretty sure the speedo cable goes through passenger foot well into the transfer box mine has snapped and i am struggling to find a new one. im using an app on my phone till i find one.

Ye speedo cable goes to the transfer box and mine was dangling on the exhs audit and melted the plastic coating and it had naw broke :( Suzuki wants £40 for a new 1

As said speedo goes to tbox and wipers could be a fuse or the little stalkthat goes through the screen frame can seize in place

Simple to replace the wiper motor. Ask in the wanted section, someone will have one!

Okay cheers everyone I've found to little connectors on the tbox that could what I'm looking for and where is the fuse box located and what could be seized

fuses should be in the passenger foot well.

okay thanks sorted the wipers out now! just the speedo can someone help my locate where the speedo cable goes on the transfer box? iv seen by the transfer box lever there are to little connectors which go in to the tbox? or is the speedo a push fitted one i cant seem to find it becuase when i took the transfer box out i only had to unclip the to electrical connetors? really stuck

Speedo cable is held in by one bolt/screw.
Some have a brake drum fitted onto the output shaft, but I assume yours doesn't as you didn't have to disconnect the cable when you removed the box.
I guess your speedo cable is not connected/missing.

On the diagram I put handbrake drum, but it should be handbrake backplate.
It's midnight and I can't be arsed to change it

That's a clean looking transfer box, and the whole underside is looking pretty good, I don't think mine has ever looked like that!
