I couldn't help noticing that the SJ 80 has caused many doubts of its worldwide spread ...well down here in Carriacou..( the middle island of the tri island nation of Grenada,West Indies ) I and my neighbour both have them, plus there are two others on the island. All 13 Sq miles of it !
They're SJ413's with Vitara suspension..ie strut front and coil and shocker rear, both using trailing arms,
Suzuki did a road experiment by trying the future Vitara suspension and making the SJ80 for only 3 years. The only problen down here is keeping on top of the rust issue as the salt/air saturation is high so learning to weld is a must
I have a Samurai Woody Wagon project underway at the moment
When i'm used to the website layout i'll download some pics
Until such times Take care
