Hello iv been trying to get my sj started and it's not getting a spark so I reckon it's the coil so iv done a test were I put a live feed from the battery to the coil to power it? When I did this it put the dash board lights on and because it dosnt have a key barrel i ha to try and hot wire it so I bridged the two power to get power and touched the starter to the power and they is sill no spark coming out could this be a coil because I reckon I have the Spanish model so someone said? And the positive from the coil is a black and white wire and there isn't a wire near the ignition barrel like this help!!! Haha

George could you please take a photo of your coil showing the wire colours (including the ballast resistor)
Looking at the spanish wiring diagram it doesn't even show one
The black/white wire that normally feeds it is only this colour after the fuse box
From the ignition switch to the fusebox it is normally black/blue (Jap built)
But the spanish one is maked BYG on the diagram and I have no idea what colour that is
Could you also take a photo of the wires to/from the ignition switch so I can see what colour it is.
The 410 has points and these are the weakest link on the ignition circuit.
Also what year is yours as the early models have a couple of different wire colours again.

Thanks for the pic, but I give up
There's no ballast resistor !
The blue is not standard so no idea where that goes
The green/yellow is not standard so no idea where that goes
None of my diagrams show brown/black wires so no idea what that is.
The above diagram is how it should be.
Without being there with a multimeter I'm fucked!
Sorry..
