Hi, My name is Paul.
I Just bought me an SJ from eBay this week.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121226800037? ... 1423.l2649
You may have seen it...
Anyway. I'm an ex Land Rover series owner, so I'm not clued up on SJ's etc.
Where could I get a replacement front passenger side arch from??
Does anyone have a spare?
Cheers.. Paul

Well I don't know much about it. I will take better pictures of it all on the weekend when I collect. going to be my winter hack, then tidy it up in the spring for summer with a bikini top on!

So it drove the 90 miles home, a few issues.. its not perfect in anyway, but looks solid.
So 5th gear is useless as it wont rev high enough to use it.. Its top speed being about 55/60ish
Its had an SU carb conversion at some point. with a crappy cone filter.. so maybe this is to blame, the snorkels not even hooked up! Another problem is its steering jolts at full lock! and it stalls constantly when in reverse and its on a tilt due to one shock being broken..
Just gave it a jet wash to get some of the mud off..

Looks tidy enough.
I would start by checking the SU has the correct needle and spring in it.
