lift kit advice.....

Hi guys,iv just got a Grand vitara GV1600 SE 52 reg and the rear shocks are weeping,id like to put an inexpensive lift kit on but i know nothing about these great little trucks,my XJ anus cherokee had a 3inch lift,it involved a fair bit of work,rear leafs shocks transfer case drop front shocks and springs swaybar drop brackets control arms..etc etc id like to fit something that keeps the nice ride and doesnt involve having to make loads of mods,iv read here that a 2inch lift is max without drama.what kind of work, time wise does a lift take on these trucks? only asking cause my cherokee took 12 hours with seized/snapped bolts etc...
