Morning folks,
I would like to fit a bonnet vent to my 85' JX, this would not just be for show, and is to aid my weber.
Ive never done this before so any ideas on type, or actual instruction would be welcomed.
thanks
Tim

see if you can get a vitara 4U2 bonnet scoop cut a hole in your bonnet seal it down paint to match. or you can get a chavvy one from a motor factors or make your own from chicken wire and paper mashe, just make sure you seal it properly!

silicone retards paint, i wouldnt use it.
sika-flex is good. or any other rubberised seam sealer.
about £4 for a tube, and youl need a mastic gun to apply.

It doesnt need to be watertight. even if you did go through the effort of sealing it there is a wooping great hole on the front!
