Bump Stops

Hi all,
Whilst my SJ has been lifted in the past, the bump stops haven't been extended to go with the extra lift.
Anyone know what the distance should be between the axle and the bottom of the bump stop?

Bump stops...... One of the most forgotten parts and one of the most essential components for a 4x4 suspension set up to function properly.
There is no set distance, depends on your set up and springs, they need to be set at the height where your springs are 'flat' so the springs don't invert during compression.

Thanks guys. Scottie, that was the information I needed and confirmed my suspicion.
Only problem is that my rear springs are currently pretty flat
Might have to make the bump stops after I've replaced them!
I'm pretty sure the ones on the truck are similar to, or the same as the ones in your link Tramp.
Edweird, I'm pretty sure I can use the ones I have to make extended versions, if I don't though you can have the ones that are on there

The way I take the speed bumps around the Hull University campus I do. They're to most violent speed bumps in the world. I catch air over some of them, even though I'm doing the 20mph speed limit.

I have front bump stops the same style as mikes. I got them from KAP Suzuki but tbh I want to swap them for the bits4vits stops as my axle is still supa and these round ones really aught to have a flat surface to work on
