I can only assume the shear pins have gone?
This is designed to happen only in an accident.

If it is the shear pins , the manual says you have to replace the column.
These pins are quite hard to break I thought :er: .
Somebody hopefully will have more advice if its the pins and if you can replace them.

I must admit I can't understand why the column has come out at the bottom so much. I would have though it couldn't as the steering joint bar and steering box would not allow it to. :er:

I don't know if it's safe to drive , but I would guess not.

The clean bit that has slid out from the bulkhead shouldnt be able to do that. I guess it must be on a sliding splined arrangement inside the cab. This shouldnt happen though. I certainly wouldnt drive it.

Your meant to have the bolt in the centre of the wheel. As the steering wheel is splined.

Yeah I was just showing that something is bolted to the steering I just don't know what the setup is meant to look like assembly wise?
