I am in the process of wiring in a 7 pin, flat trailer socket. It has a blue core, that is labeled service brakes. what are these exactly? I am guessing I don't need it on the sj, so can I just cut it off?
also, I untaped the loom just before the first plug for the left hand side rear lights, to splice the my trailer socket into the loom. there was a ground wire running into the loom, looped around and came back out the same spot, with a crimp lug on each end. is this a dead ended bit of wire I can discard, or do the ends connect to two different things? I can't remeber how I took it off
any help greatly apreciated guys

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

I think the plug shouldn't make any difference. but here's a pic anyways. the colour chart it's the right hand side. I think the service brakes are the electrically activated trailer brakes. am not sure.
