As the title says? has anyone made a bracket to make the vitara 16v pas pump fit onto the sj410 engine? any pics or dimensions appreciated? cheers

I bolted a 10mm steel plate to the side of mine and lined it up with the exsiting holes in the bolt holes then welded the pump bracket to th plate

Well ive looked on every forum on the planet looking into this and everyone makes a bracket up! why? ive done it using the original one from the vitara! the single bolt hole in the tab i drilled out to 10 mm i also used two standard spring washers as spacers behind this to bring the pulleys inline and then i worked out where the other two holes would be admittedly i was half a hole out on my first attempt,i think the hole centres are 60mm? so i just elongated them slightly fits real nice to! saves time! Also went to a car parts shop and got a new belt to run the pas pump i cant remember size but it is the next size down from the vitara belt!

Just the wedge left to make now then ill do the whole thing in one for the stickies

Only thing stopping me welding up the wedge now is im unsure if the 40mm tab sits inbetween the plates or if it is welded onto the back of the plates? anyone seen a better pic anywhere?

Bolt it all in place and tack weld it. Remove it and weld it up. Then everything should be in the right place.
