Hi guys took the truck out for a drive as haven't been in it for a while, started up on the button, however a mile or so down the road it stalled! Pushed it into a lay by close by to investigate, I seem to have no spark at all not even under the distributer cap and I've also lost the everything on the instrument panel lights, rev counter the lot! but still have side and drive lights indicators
its turning over fine so I presume it's something to do with the ignition? Any help gratefully received as I've had to leave it in the lay by over night!

It could be the coil , condensor or the points if u have any
Have u checked the fuse for the ignition

On the post side of the battery there is a wire with a inline fuse carrier thats the one you want
To check

If the fuselink has blown you will have nothing at all.
This fuse covers what you describe.
Bung another fuse in and see what happens.
If it blows straight away then you've got some fault finding to do

That fuse feeds the dash, coil, carb solenoid and alternator. It also goes to the headlight cleaner, but I've never seen one with that fitted..
