hi.,ive got a ten year old 206 hdi that i can't bear to get rid of as its so reliable and im wondering if i should canibalise it and transplant it into an sj. has anyone done this ??

Anything can be done if you try hard enuff and have a big enuff shoe horn

What litre is it as some people use pug 1.9 engines in some vitaras using this gearbox

I had a 1.9 vw in mine blew it up and went to a 1.6 vitty

im just thinking about it as im on the verge of buying another sj cos i love them but i can't. own 4 vehicles.!

Diesel engines are good, but they are mostly really heavy and lots of people say you lose the nimbleness of the SJ, which is one of the key areas of performance for me!
