Can I replace front crank seal without removing engine?

All tech relating to the Suzuki Vitara that won't relate to any other models, Front IFS etc.

Um.. The title says it all..I would like to see if my 'sump' oil leak is in fact a leaking front crankshaft seal that is showing just fwd of the oil filter.

I changed the one on my SJ without removing the engine. I did have to take the radiator out tho.
86 SJ413 tin top, 1.6 8v, SU carb, YJ spring conversion, virtual lift, 33x12.5x15 KL71's, rocklobster, rear discs, power steering.

There is more space on the front of an SJ for access but I'm sure it can be done.

Gotta make sure you get that crank pulley bolt torqued up properly again when you do it though :thumbup:
