take it the rad burst cuz i would have driven off in that. How fast was she going.
I was in a cavalier that hit a big double pole sign at 80 and it didnt bend aswell as that has. Kinda just wrapped around the front of the car and the sign came smashing down on the bonnet!
Unlucky mate. Doubt it will take much to get it sorted tho.

unlucky,,, years ago, my wife borrowed my 2.1 escort rally car. i was at work at the time, so when she rang i asked her to top up the oil as id done a rally the previous day.. (you know what im going to say).., YES she filled up the engine!!. I get a second phone call .. the cars broken down?.. every oil seal was blown out,oil sucked in (pair 45 webbers with open trumpetts).. IT WAS TOTALY *UCKED.. so moral here guys,, dont let the women drive your car.. "but that dont work"..

Ouch! looks like she was quite keen to do a bit of offroading eh! vits do like to pop out sideways around wet round abouts, it's happened to me a fair few times in mine but i haven't ended up like that luckily
If you do try and get it back on the road, might be a good idea to check that the chassis still straight from the look of those pics the front crossmember looks a wee bit bent!

i would have told them to f off. i work for the people that supply the electricity to the sign!
realisticly if the cable had have been snagged down to the cores then a fuse would have gone in a feeder pillar or back at the sub station. bnet the guy who recovered it still touched it!
240v wont do anythin to ya anyway!

I wouldnt let anyone drive my SJ at all, no way !
Last time i did , ( many years ago) the person almost ruined the clutch. so i vowed that nobody will drive it but me.
Some might think that im being a bit strange, but im sure that im not the only one who wouldnt let any one drive their pride and joy.

i let all my mates drive it once or twice off road and when my girlfriends car got written off i let her drive it on road for 2 weeks!
I was constantly waiting for the phone call saying "I was just driving along and suddenly..."
She hates it though, all i hear is "I liked it when it was white and little and cute".
