My 413 gearbox now sounds like a bag of spanners when in 5th.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get a "new" one from?
Cheers.
Will.

I know rockwatt does transfer boxes. Might do gearboxes but he's at scunthorpe.
If you have the know how i would do it yourself. Unless someone recommends a company there is no guarantee of the quality of work.
I know a recon isn't cheap. All the companies around Darlington and Teesside were charging about £300. I had mine done in October, well worth it.

Location isnt a problem, I travel around a lot.
Really looking for a recommendation cos as you say, you can pay your money and get a crap job.
Dont really have the time to do it myself, or the patients to be honest.

Give Richard a shout. I just got my rocklobster and manifold back. Haven't tried the lobster yet but the manifold is bang on.
There are loads of lads on here with parts made and modded by him. Its all top quality gear like.
