Help needed engine conversion troubles

Has any one done a vitara conversion on an sj and used the electronic ignition distributer? Swapped engine over changed distributer for my old one from 1300, can get to run but can't get timing right distributer end??????

Do you mean there isnt enough movement to get the timing correct?

If there isn't enough movement on the distributor pull it out and move it round a tooth.

All 413s have electric ignition, only the 410s had points.
Was the 1.3 carb'd? Or SPI? Did you not get the dizzy with the 1.6 if so why not use that?

right thanks for the in put guys mine is the 1300 spi electronic ignition the vitara injection engine dizzy has 5_8 connectors on it so no use, we un did the distributer nut so we could move it more still no good so we wired up a coil and dizzy but now no spark so going to try another dizzy
