been looking at a few welder but whats the best amp to buy is 100 amps enough ??

All depends on whether it's just for bodywork or if your planing on making winch bumpers etc.

this is what i got ideal for all sorts or metal i glued my bumper using this welder
i wouldnt have it if i was using it all day maby once a week if its lucky

100 amps should be enough for the bodywork of your SJ, so long as it's not the structural parts.

That's an ARC welder Ollie, You won't be able to weld bodywork with that.

I'd recommend a 100-130A Gas MIG welder, That will be good to learn with and also give you the ability to weld stuff up to 4mm thick in case you decide to make some bumpers at any point etc.

With it run 0.6mm wire using either Co2 or a 5%argon95%Co2 mix

Welders are one thing where you really do get what you pay for.

It will be well worth it for you to save a little more and buy a good one. Look after it properly and its a lifetime investment.
