There aren't that many around, and again the model we have in the uk is a 1.3 version.

So yeah the particular version is probably rather rare.

Well in certain countries like the Uk and America they are pretty rare.

However you can still buy them new in some countries as a maruti gypsy and they are still selling them in NZ as the suzuki farm worker http://www.suzuki.co.nz/FarmWorker/ but you can't make the new ones road legal in a lot of countries as they don't meet modern safety standards.

yeah, Ive seen those farmworkers, quite neat vehicles too, and quite capable I heard. Ther are only like 17 thousand dollars, and I believe they are not road legal as you say scottie. I didn't realize they are the same/ very similar. Thanks for the clarification guys

The farmworkers are pretty much identical to a Lwb samurai, apart from having a mpfi on the engine and maybe a few other minor details.

The one you posted is a 410 though so does have a few other differences like the Narrow track axles, a narrower spring spacing, smaller diffs and a 970cc engine.

However you could bolt the body from a farmworker onto the 410 Lwb chassis and have a fresh new shell but keeping the old registration so it's road legal.

now there's a real good thought. That'll save me a lot of welding and hassle fixing up my old shell, I was also looking at the fibreglass bodies, but getting a farmworker shell might be quite easy, I will have to look into that as well I think
