Just cut off the shackle stops and run straight shackles.

I don't think rascal springs are much longer than standard rears so there should be no reason to need banana shackles?

Using the original top front leaf won't give you all the benifets of ruf as you'll still have short springs, in fact it could make your shackle angles worse stiffening the ride. It is worth the extra effort of doing it properly with the full rear spring pack.

what a pain in the backside getting the old springs off...ended up cutting the bolt oposit side of shackle as it was seized in the bush spent hours trying to get them out without cutting them :(,
got to pick up new ones tommorrow,

and the rear springs ther was hardly any diffrence at all got me thinking its been done before :(
aint dropd it dwn yet to check
gonna do it proper then scottie and weld the shackl forward on the fronts.

Rascal springs went strait on mine with standard shackles. Only problem I had was on my rascal springs one end the eye was bigger than the standard rears but I just cut some pipe and hammered it in tight so I could use the prolly bushes I'd brought. Wouldn't matter if you got the bushes with the rascal springs tho.
