My Granny is getting old and she has said i can have her 2012 suzuki alto so was wondering how hard it would be to make it fit in a sj as it would run sweet with that in it.
'How hard can it be' ??

Why not just keep the alto to use on road after you pass your test? Will be a lot cheaper to insure than an SJ.
As for fitting it into an SJ there will be a LOT of wiring involved so will be harder than you think.

yer suppose more sj's then to piss the parents off. mum went mental when i told her that the new one im getting would fit in the garage and it would have to be on the drive.

i wouldnt bother, with all the modern electronics there would be way to much wiring to do, and since its a fairly new car you get a good some of money, tbh if i was you id sell the alto and use the money from that to pay for your insurance on the SJ, but first do a insurance quote on it and see which is cheap, SJ or alto...

Good luck getting that engine to run in an SJ. You'd need so much electro-gubbins bodging into your SJ it wouldn't be worth it. I'd insure the Alto, work on modifying/restoring the SJ and then get the Sj on the road in a couple of years. I was talking to Jordi the other day about how insurance has shot up again for 17 year olds wanting to drive SJs since the insurance changes a year or two ago. For a 17 year old to drive an SJ now is like £4000, I paid £2000 and a Corsa would've been £1800.

why dont you just put the alto on the SJ chassis? then you can keep it insured as an alto so it would be cheap, then use it off road aswell:)
