My thoughts are - Don't bother
As I understand it, it's just a way of getting more suspension travel using the same shocks. But doing this makes the shocks less efficient at damping the suspension travel.
If your shocks you have on now are letting the axle drop to it's maximum, IE: end of spring travel, then you won't gain anything.
I would assume you only go down this route for something with lots of articulation.
This is just how I understand it, so I could well be wrong

As Darrel says they are a waste of time in my opinion, the ones that are for sale on eBay are badly designed and a bit of a bodge, i presume the one you have been offered is one of those, I made the mistake of wasting money on one of them years ago, they tilt the shocks in way to far, the same shocks titled back out made the ride so much nicer. if you still want one pay for the postage and I think I still have one lying in my scrap metal pile
