Another good suzuki sunday

Post by andyrew » Sun Dec 30, 2012 7:20 pm

well today has been just another good sunday,

last sunday i popped out for a little jolly in the tin top to go collect some new boots, some near new
goodyear wrangler 215s from a jolly nice chap on a farm. a bargain at £30 the set. it was a lovely drive, window down and heater on. a little drive around the country with a rasp from the janspeed exhaust and a little pop n bang on the over run :D

today was a similar thing, on ebay a suzuki was being broken, spoke to the man breaking it who seemed very plesant. as it was reasonably local, i asked to pop over and have a scratch around and see if there was any bits i could use before it went to the scrappy i didnt really need anything but its always worth a look. i got there nice and early, and had a look at the zook. i have never seen such a rotten sami. it made scotties LWB seem mint!.

but it still had a few gems left so i salvaged what i could from it, after a lovely cuppa i stripped the rest of the useful bits off that i didnt need so the man could sell them on, fuel tank steering box lights etc etc. it helps him and the people looking for the parts, much better than going in the bin. i then loaded up half the stuff, i couldnt fit it all in

so with two doors, a tbox, a front screen assembley, and a grill i hit the road with a smile on my face. i go back in a few days to pick up the front and rear axles :hahaha: . i couldnt help myself.

Anyone after the following for a spanish sami?

Anything dash related
steering wheel
headlights
small flange props
headlights
fuel tank
steering box
side repeaters
plastic sami wheel arches

these are the bits that are left, his prices a very good.
