Alright guys, so the work is now under way. first thing I need are seat all round, The owner before put some racing seats in and they are so damn uncomfortable. Anyone got any? even if its just the front seats it would be awesome! or do you know where to find some cheapish ones? SJ's arent to common in scrap yards down in Devon!

Sorry to thread hijack...but I'd love to put rear seats in my Samurai.
Does anyone have photos of them fitted? What's required to fit them? Does it need to have mounting points already? I'm not sure if she ever had seats in the back before I got her......?

I HAD seats in the back of my tintop and they bolted to the floor with a welded nut underneath but I have welded that hole over and painted it so not to sure where they used to be there was only 4 holes

I would like to think the threaded holes are under the carpet for at least one style of seat. If you can find and measure them, we can maybe see what version would fit straight in. Seat belts would be the next problem though...........
