gettin there!
hey everyone!
had a fairly productive weekend.
managed to prime and paint the inside of me zuke, only problem is the seats are welded to the floor so i couldnt get to all of it. but now its coated in some nice thick black hammerite to give it some protection
gettin some 215/80r15 kumho kl78s for the rear to go with my 215/80r15 general grabber tr's up front.
should be collecting em this afteernoon an fittin this week some time. not that aggressive but i use the zuke as a daily so ill be buyin some mts when i can for play time
also got an ammo box which im gonna bolt into the rear for much needed storage
the other week:
removed the front bumper and mounted the headlights where the bumper used to mount onto.
had the fuel filler area welded inside the boot and a couple other areas too.
need a wing mirror, has anyone mounted motor bike mirrors on the wings at all for doors off action?
if so is it fairly easy to do?
i will get round to taking pics soon. jus bad at remembering to do it lol
if i forget just gimme a
cheers
steve

There are tyre calculators on the internet that'll tell you the change as a percentage I think. How accurate was your speedo to start with? At low speeds mine's pretty optimistic but seems to get more accurate the faster I go.suzukisteve wrote:oh thats what i was gonna ask

There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: gettin there!
yours is a 410?
So stock tyre is 195x15 yours are 215x15 so your speedo will read about 5% slower
So now when its showing 95 on the speedo you're really doing 100

Re: gettin there!
the only way it'll ever reach 100 is if its on the back of a recovery truck... going downhill... with the wind behind it.
to be fair the speedo just jumps all over the place anyways
they are being fitted as we speak
