Got a quote

Post by dan_2k_uk » Wed Jul 18, 2012 7:20 pm

As I haven't had my own insurance policy for over 2 years (been on the Mrs insurance) my NCB has expired.

I thought I better get a quote as I'm soon to finish my truck.

Adrian Flux said they will still consider the NCB but list as "expired" which apparently makes a bit of difference.

Limited mileage of 1500 with all mods declared came out at £545

Seem a bit steep or am I being a tight F#@% and should be biteing their hands off!?!?

That's bonkers Dan.

My old SJ with all mods and 5000 miles was £145.

OK I am a bit older than you but they are taking the piss there.

Think its the NCB issue thats causing the problem. Might see what they can do if its immobilised.

Too old? Really? That's daft! My truck's a 1984 and they never said anything like that to me. Sounds like the Co-op's left hand isn't talking to the right or something.
