Cheers guys :hands: just got back from hospital and it looks like I've torn my meniscus again bit not my MCL, however I might've torn one of the tendons that joins to my patella.

Got an MRI scan next week so will find out if I'm gonna need surgery or not. :|

Robbie its not gonna stop me getting back on the BMX, will take more than this  just means its time to buy a nice knee support  I love riding too much to stop just yet.

Done something to my knee the other night didnt even come off just landed a bit sideways because the trails are so slippy at the moment.

Its not too bad but we leave for a riding holiday in the alps in 2 weeks and I kneed (sorry) it to be spot on.

Hope urs gets sorted or is at least good enough to continue with ur truck.

Cheers guys :hands:

I'm sure yours will be fine in two weeks Dan, I would however recommend getting a knee support! I'm going to be buying an expensive one for when I get back on the bike, it was my worst nightmare to end up doing this all over again. it's one of the reasons I haven't rode much in the last few years.

One things for sure I'm going to be a bit sceptical about doing 540s again :S but damn they are fun!

Nah Robbie you should still have it in you. :poke:

This is my mate Dean from bristol, 42years young and riding woodward megaramp (27ft vert quarter pipe) in the US at the 'old guys who ride' reunion a few weeks ago.

I'm a lot more mobile today and got the splint off so should be at the workshop again on Monday. Got my MRI scan appointment through for 8.50am Tuesday morning too so will find out if I need surgery on Wednesday afternoon when I go back into hospital to see the orthopaedic.
