New guy moved with my first 4x4 SJ410 pics

picked this up with no tax or mot and plan to get it back on the road and hame some fun with
plan to sort out the arches and front bumper then just spray the lot matte black with orange decals
any opinions on the car itself? ps, its E reg 1988 and cost me a blackberry phone & £125, the engine runs fine through every gear in both 2wd & 4wd so please with that
What do you lot think?

just to add it came with front bullbars and a winch but been removed and sat in my shed to stop people attempting to steal them while sat on my drive

Thanks, and yeah i looks real bad tbf lol but the subframe is 100% solid, the shell has no rust other than the arches so is actually in good condition even though it looks terrible haha plus it come with a siren that makes animal noises and has a mic input so that alone makes up for rotten arch's

Looks like it needs a bit of work.
Have a look at my build thread for an idea of how to sort out the arches whilst gaining some extra clearance for tyres.
You say you have tried it in 4wd. Just a heads up. You shouldn't use it in 4wd on any surface that isn't slippy as it will cause transmission wind up.

off to have a read through ur thread now mate, and ok thanks for the heads up on the 4wd situation as i actually had no idea on that just wanted to try it
lol wont be using that on tarmac again

ive also heard that SJ410's are menna be more reliable than the santannas although there are the same car just built in different places?? how would i tell which 1 i have as i havent a clue lmao
