biggest tyres for standard sj410

i have a suzuki sj410 with standard engine and drivetrain and want to fit bigger tyres and need to know how big i can go without changing the engine or lifting any more than 2"...
im running vitara alloys with 255 60 r15's...

biggest I would go is 30" with stock gearing. It wont like big hills on road but apart from that they motor on quite well.

thanks for the help i will look out for a nice set of 30" a/t's then my car is mainly for on the road but if i get the SU and do a couple of little mods i should have the power for that then
...
and how much wider tires can i fit to my wheels im running 255's...

Depends on the width of the rim.
Cant really use you current tyre width as a guide for that as anything could have been fitted.

also 30s might not quite fit on with out a tiny amount of lift or redrilling the spring perches to move the axle 1" forward, might also need to fold over the seems at on the bulkhead at the back of the front wheel arches.

i will find out the size of the rim but any idea how much wider than the wheel i could go? and the arches arent a problem, i made the new arches about 2" bigger all around so it looks lifted but it isnt and they are 3" wider from the standard body lol...
but i will do a lift on it at some point i hear the add a leafs are the best to go for....

I have the Rough Country add a leafs( the part number says there for a Bronco) they state 2" but look more than that to me. Easy to fit but not a quick job. I did it in my driveway & found the below use full
2X Trolley Jacks
High quality breaker bar
Angle grinder
G clamps
DP60 or another good lubricant that's not WD40.

Add a leafs are very hard, i ran them for some time!
Best suspension i had was the Calmini 3" set up. However something a bit softer would have been nice!
If you want to fit wider tires, why not pop a set of wheel spacers on.... I Know of a set and im sure we could sort something out

I have the space for wider tires, I've gt Vitara wide boy wheels on it so they sit out more and are wider I just wanted to know of how much wider the wheels will take...
