ive got a 1996 sj samurai 'coily' edition the one with the springs from standard, and its a convertable which i dont really like so im wondering if anyone has any good websites for buying sjs because id like to replace the main shell so its a hard top and i figured it would just be easier to buy a whole car, because they can go for so little.
thanks get back to me soon

The tin tops are becoming a bit rarer now and people generally only break them if they are rotten.
Think you might be best off buying a whole truck with a good body and then selling/keeping the left over parts to make some of your cash back.

Theres a tintop shell in sussex if you want it... probably cheap as well. Dunno about the condition though, but you could repair it
There are no front wings with it either as they were rotten

As I went to the effort of finding the thread heres the link.
It is the same one twiss is on about but photos will probably appear in the for sale section.

Ahhh yeah nice one for finding the thread! Yeah its a hardtop shell minus the front section!
In red but if you're going to do it, it would be worth repainting it!

I've spoke to the guy with the shell. He says its pretty rusty, but if you went for box section sills and fancy a bit of welding in the arches it would be OK
I think he will take scrap value for it... £50-60
