Awfully nice of Tramp to PM me just to see if i was still alive. I am, just. Haven't been on in what seems like an eternity due to various constraints.
3 weeks in america November / December.
A public holiday called christmas.
A series of various flu illnesses, some of which I highly reccomend, especially if you have to go to work still.
Busy ish at work.
Then last week and this is just some useless info. In a wagon it takes 52 hours to drive from darlington to dover, sail to calais, transit france via st quentin, reims, dijon, lyon, scoot across the alps thru the Frejus tunnel (446 euro return, personally i found it a bit expensive, but i wasnt paying). Down to torino, hang a left via milan and burgamo and tip 30 mile north of bergamo. 112 miles south to fabbrico, near modena, to collect tractors. And return. with a quick stop at newark to tip the tractors and go back to darlington. Total time is give or take and hour or 2, 6 and a half days.
Theres also the small issue of having done naff all to my SJ as the garage has been freezing cold and due to the holiday to america and the newly booked holiday to helsinki (long way to see motley crue, but who cares) I am slightly skint!
I shall do my utmost to get on a bit more, just for the crack.
Jordi

Re: Still alive....
It's been non stop, things are calming down a bit now. hoping for some more Italian work in the coming months. Get the holiday paid off then I've got no major outlays for a bit. As always so much to do, so little time.

P.S. When / if you read this Luke, how are you? Fully repaired yet? I must dredge thru and find the "tramp" post.

Hello jordi
I'm glad you made it back, it had been awhile and we were starting to worry!
6 & 1/2 days to get to Italy and back, well done! I don't know if I would have fancied it myself but I bet the money makes it worth while, next time your over there you will have to squeeze a nice rot free SJ onto your wagon, I bet the suzi bodies out there are all in really good nick!
As for me I'm all back to normal now (or as close as i will get) everything seems to be settling down & things are certainly looking up!
How are you & the Mrs? It's got to be over a year since you were married! & its great to hear your still working hard, I'm sure its all a means to an end & I'm looking forward to seeing your Suzuki finished!
