transfer box weight?

I can't remember exactly? Around 22-25kg I think?

I took mine down the post office and dropped it on the scales..No oil, lever , props and prop brake removed..
17.5 Kilo's.

If your wondering can you lift it, the answer is, i could, there are not that heavy, as long as you don't try and lift it with your arms extended too much. I had mine in and out twice last weekend.
I found the beast way of doing this was to remove the mount that went to the passenger side and leave the long driver side one in place, and just lift it up end into position on those two mounting points in one hit.

Also if it's about lifting I had my sj up on a ramp on Monday and Tuesday and was taking the box in and out so many times trying to get a transferbox guard to fit so not heavy at all

My memory is a bit off then lol it was over a year ago that I sent sent some out though :lol: perhaps its a vit tbox that weighs over 20kg then as I've also a sent a few of those out.

I sent two T-boxes 410/413 in one parcel.. Cost about £15 with interparcel/insured and tracked/picked up from my house.. (Just used the post office to weigh them as they wanted about £50 to deliver them)

I got a banana box from asda to pack them in,really thick strong card box and a roll of brown tape.
