I would say get a 1/34 inch lift from bits 4 vit if you go mugo much higher than that you will start havin faults.
For example i raised mine just over two inches and where all things are at more of an angle i would go full lock on the steering the brake caliper would press onn the spring and release the brake so would have to pump it a couple of times to work again.
I would advize gettin some front diff drop brackets aswell to save your drive shaft from being at a bad angle.
Brad.
P.s the brake should be fine if ur keeping it simple

Personally if ur gonna use it for road i would use a inch and three quarter. Look on bits4vits and it will show you how it works.

I would start with what size tyres do you want to run and how are you going to sort the gearing? There is little point in just lifting it for the sake of it. A 2" spring lift and 215R15 tyres is a fairly simple combination that doesn't affect drivability too much. You need to determine the budget and then look at which lift you want. You will get problems trying to lift over 2" with just spacers or springs, you will get less problems with a properly engineered lift kit but if you can fab then you can get around a lot of the issues.

ive got a 3" lift on mine, using springs and spacers.
you will need to correct the camber,a heim spacer and diff drop backets ideally.
alsso you will need to get the tracking set however much you lift it as you are affecting the angle of the steering arms.
also got a 4" body lift that was already done when i got the truck.
im running 235 wide 30" tyres with no problems
