What size

Post by charger » Sat Dec 17, 2011 5:51 pm

Any ideas to what size in inlett I need when getting an exhaust pipe, will be getting a cherry bomb & doing a hack job connecting it after the manifold. Was going to get something like

Sorry to hijack your thread but do they amplify the sound much? I've only heard one on a v8 I would like one on my standard 1l but not if it's too loud n sounds like a gay boy racer

If ran with other silencers they aren't too loud and sound nice. I would suggest either running one with either 1 large silencer or two small ones.

On a standard 410 it shouldn't be loud enough to annoy you.

As for inlet size I'm not sure what the standard size is on 413s 1.5" perhaps, id go for a 1.75" then if you want to increase the size of the rest of the exhaust it would be perfect in the future, my exhaust is 2" from the downpipe back but I would prob go with 1.75" if I was to build another.

I agree with scott, when you run a cherry bomb with another silencer they are pretty good!
Loud when you want, but not too ridiculous! Without another box would be quite loud though!

It would be like a boy racer if you put it on a Nova
My 4l I6 anus has a powerflow system on it which is loud.
All the 90's at my local pay & play are really loud too.
My Cherry bomb is now on order
