anyone else into it at all, or TCR for that matter?
i keep picking up bargains at the bootfair, most of the time they are sets without cars, for £2 or something, this morning, i spent a lot more on a set, but it is almost complete, still waiting on the underneath of one of the cars, and it just got me thinking about if anyone else is into it
track is all minty mint, one complete car, even the barriers are still unused, box lid is past it thought, despite what it looks like in the piccy
I have a massload of the stuff in the attic, will have to get a picture, i also have a load of TCR (total control racing) i got lucky on ebay and bought a load at a quiet time, must have 150 foot of track for that along with a dozen cars.
anyone else slightly addicted to the stuff? if you want i can take some pics of my stuff (scalextric that is )

Re: Scalextric
I've got a set buried somewhere, and a whole stash of different cars.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: Scalextric
I've got a set in my mum and dads loft, it was a figure of 8 track with banked corners, I used it a few times but the track was never the same after my brother walked on it! Although I don't have any to speak of I can see the appeal of the stuff! Generally I'm the same with radio Controled cars, owt for nowt! (a good yorkshire saying)

Re: Scalextric
Glad to know i am in like minded company
I used to be heavily into RC cars, still have a couple of old ones dotted about,
I have a board setup in the rafters in my attic, 16' by 4' and change between TCR and Scalextric
here is a couple of bad pics i snapped with my new iphone
looking at all those, it makes me realise 1 thing
I need to get out more
