yeah thats not a problem in just means your diff, props and halfshafts are spinning as well
you shouldn't drive in 4wd with them unlocked though...

I'm just lazy & find it easy to keep the hubs on lock so when I need 4 wheel I don't have to get out.

I do that on a day out laning, I just keep them unlocked when I know I'm mostly going to be a lot of road miles.

Yeah same here. Lock em up when I get to the brown stuff. Unlock em when im washing it after.
