OH BUGGER

Post by ScottieJ » Sat Oct 29, 2011 10:01 pm

Time for another project :bawling: :bawling:

I was driving over to karis's house down a road that I drive everyday, got blinded by an oncoming car and although I was already slowing down for the next corner when I got my vision back I was a bit closer to the corner than I thought, to top it off it was a bit greasy and although I wasn't going that fast I suffered some major understeer  Just goes to show you can know a road like the back of your hand but it can still catch you out.

Yup golf meets bush resulting in a very crumpled front end :bawling:

Looks just about repairable but ill find out the full extent of the damage tomorrow when we go to pull it out if its not i'll be breaking it for parts.

Not been a good year for me :bawling: my 1st points and my first crash all in a few months

Sorry to hear that. Just have to be grateful it's only the car that's busted.

Forget the car, it's only a golf. Did you suffer any injuries? Pics?
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

I'm 100% fine thanks guys :hands: not even a hint of whiplash as I wasn't going that fast.

I stopped pretty quick though  those bushes make good brakes

Just pretty gutted, I know its only a car but its also my transport to the workshop where my sj is :bawling: think I'm gonna take some time off work to get the sj finished faster as I need a vehicle on the road.

Don't worry things like this happen to the best of us, the other morning going to work I had a bit of a 'snakey' moment, at this time of year the roads are greasy and mistakes are easy to make, so don't beat yourself up about it too much!
