FREE OS MAPPING WITH GPS ROUTING!!! :-)

Now that OS have made their explorer maps available for free online I looked into the best way to use them.
I have just downloaded the whole of Wales and am transferring it to my phone for my camping trip there next week.
I presume this will be possible on most smartphones. My Nokia N900 supports them fully including GPS routing and waypoint marking on any public right of way.
Anyone with a bit of computer know-how should be able to use Mobile Atlas Creator to download the maps and use them with their device of choice.
You need to use the Beta version available here http://www.4shared.com/get/YSMcxAiD/Mob ... eta_1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as the current build dosent support OS maps.
I couldnt tell you what format you need for each device but my phone uses OSM tracker.
If you dont have a GPS smartphone the App itself is still very handy for viewing maps as its so fluid and you can still save them to your PC etc.
Still downloading now but looks like every zoom level for the whole of Wales is going to be about 1GB. Going to be walking so need the detail but for offroading i am only going to download the most usefull zoom level to save space. Although my phone does have 64GB onboard so could just go for it!
