I've heard people using chunks of wood amongst other things as bump stops... Just wondered if these rubber horse box buffers would be ok if used as a bump stop... Slice one in half, making it 4x2x2 inches.

When I first got my SJ it only had the rear bump stops. They both fell off after a gentle prodding out of sheer curiosity, and I've just left it be as is.
