how do i fix the front part of my hard top

i have just purchased a two piece hardtop and the front part has 4 clips on the fiberglass roof but my anus has no accomadation for this the previous owner just held it on with gaffer tape he never had the fixings either so my question is can you buy the other half of these clips that go on the anus allso anyone know how they fit

thanks for the reply i will get some pictures in the morning of the clip but bassically i have the hinged part of the clip on the roof i really hope i can get this sorted

hi mate short answer is yes you need some dzuz type clips i think thats what there called. try this site for them. http://www.protex.com/ they sell exactly what you need but you should be able to get them a your local engineering suppliers .

Alternatively you can make your own out of stainless steel. Knock up a cardboard template and then use that to make the steel ones. You will probably end up making minor adjustments as you make them and will end up with more than you need. I talk from experience here.
