The two wires from the distributor are brown and white? is he sure?
Sammy are yellow to + black to - (as you have said)
my Vit engine is Black W/white tracer to + & Brown W/white tracer to -

Cheers Scottie, Think I'll leave this one as the colours you descibe seem the normal. Don't know what dizzy he's got on his ??
