Yaaaaaayyyyyyyy the site is working again iv been lost for the past god knows how long not being able to get on here lol.

The engine and gearbox is in, just need to connect everything up now. My dad has bought a pair of Fox air shocks, 2.5's not the 2.0's apparently the only set in the UK, and he is lending me them till he builds his next project . so plenty of articulation is next on the agenda, and with 12 inches of travel i dont think it will be hard haha. Also aquired a set of throttle bodies from a honda blackbird, so they will be going on soonish along with a turbo and megasquirt standalone management system. will post up pictures asap

What a weapon! Looks loads of fun that mate, some real nice engineering gone into this, Any chance of some more pictures of the vitara axle conversion? Have you added the vitara crossmember?, did you use the leaf spring mounts for the lower links? something ive been thinking of doing on mine, cheers Sam

thanks mate , i will put up some better piccys of the axle conversion when i get a chance, need to find them first! i didnt use the vitara cross member but id imagine it would be easier than the way i did mine. all i did was got some thick wall tube and welded it to the chassis and made the tabs for the a-bar. from memory without checking back on my pics i had to cut off the leaf spring mounts and move them cos they werent in the right place, but yes i did use them. the whole lot took me a weekend to do and is probably the best mod iv done for the amount it cost to date (£150 for the axle, springs, trailing arms, a-bar, front & rear diff). hope this helps

The suzuki has decided it didnt like its rollcage and decided to kill it, and succeeded, will post pics of the aftermath when i get a chance. For those wondering what happened i left my centre winch un-isolated with the rope on still and the winch went off in the middle of the night and didnt stop untill the batteries went flat!! looks impressive in a sad kind of way lol. On a better note though our stainless steel exhaust franchise is up and running so if anyone is interested give us a call on 01702 258286.
