Well the list of problems goes like this..

1. MOT has run out

2. Something wrong with front axle, hoping its just a FWH thats gone pop

3. Rear door has a dent and smashed rear light (tree)

4. Bent rear bumper (it was a big tree)

Also i want to

Put the roof back on it for winter, fix the drivers window and fit my speakers!

First tasks.. Roll cage off

A good wash underneath!

Its a dirty job but someone has to do it,

Although I do have to say that thats a pretty short MOT list, most SJ mot lists are over a page long...

It's the best time of year to iron out any problems and make changes I think. I only needed to do a few things to get mine through an Mot but then I decided to go a bit further  Thats a neat way of cleaning the underside  If only I had a Manitou

Yeah its pretty cool. i was half thinking of puting the palet folks straight under, but that yard is very slippy and covered in slurry, and i had visions of it falling off

The mot list is only really the light... just finding time now!

Had a phone call this afternoon saying the contractor is ready to come and cut the maize tomorrow!

With 3 empty tractors, and no fuel delivery till Wednesday ive been running round scrounging all day!

full day on the tractor tomorrow, still trying to get the cb to work!

Some people seem to get the best jobs, I can't imagine anything better than razzing around on a tractor all day... and then being paid for it!

It has not been a good day! haha

I was on the yard for 6:30 we had a new driver come today and he wanted my tractor! No way was i going from a new is john deere 6420 with air con, cb, fridge ect ect to a 20 year old ford 6810 with crash box (lots of double clutching) 2wd and do dual power (he ended up bringing his own NH.... what a heap)
As much as i love driving it, today i couldnt think of a worse tractor!

anyway the rain stopped play, we got going at 11 ish, all was going well, some very wet hilly ground made handling interesting! Spun out a few times trying to get up some banks

A nice bit of road rage mid afternoon with a guy stopping his car in the middle of the road and complaining about the mud, we did have a mani and brush so wasnt too bad... he wasnt impressed when i booted it past him and put shit all over him and road ha

Finished the maize then started on the silage... i did get a bit intermate with a gate post while backing up to the pit in the dark...

All in a days work...
