i have a 410, when putting fuel in i can only fit about £20 in their, is this right? its a standard tank.
also that £20 gets me about 70 miles. all but 5 of it done in rwd. then defo no more than 5 miles up a small green lane in 4wd. the 5 miles is proberly more like a mile max so defo not over 5 in 4wd

I belive standard tanks to be 35L.
Have you dented it badly that could reduce its capacity?

£20? That's less than 20 litres. That's not so good. According to the specs it should be a 40 litre tank. That's a lot of shit in the tank.... You sure something's not up?

I don't know the true figures as I havn't got a fuel gauge so don't go over 140miles without filling her back up again, usually takes around 30litres after that mileage though, also bear in mind i have the drag of two transfer boxes and 33" tyres with 4.11 diffs so it revs pretty high above 50mph and I usually drive at around 60mph on A roads.
I used to get between 25/28mpg with my old 970cc lump and 31" tyres
