first time out in the sj and i loved it, how ever. when its warm, something is stopping the fuel getting through. the inline fuel filter dosnt always have fuel in it. the car seems to cought and splutter before spitting out its dummy. once left for 5 or 10 mins it will work again for a bit.
any ideas on this?
it has a new fuel pump fitted.

im guessing its just the standard carb henry on the 410. not really been any mods done as of yet. ill post a pic when i take one tomorrow?
also kim&luke theirs the filter under the car just after the tank and then theirs an inline filter between the pump and carb.
today i have taken off the old filter at the back near the tank and moved the inline filter to the pipe that feeds the fuel pump to see if that helps. when i took the old filter off, i emptied it and it was very brown ??
but i think the main problem is fuel getting to the pump maybe. dont think its the pump as thats brand new.

problem i was having was that it would fill, then after a bit it would just trickle through at a rate it wouldnt even run... i think i may have fixed the issue, not to sure yet but have changed the filter under the car and also the piping to it as well as changing the feed pipe to the fuel pump. it seems to fill and stay full now
so time will tell
