hi all
i have a 15 td corsa engine in my sj whats the benefit from putting a 17 td in there
as i have one lying around is it just making work?

im guessing the 1.5 and 1.7 would be a stright swap with no messing about.
service the engine while its off, change everything that could go wrong and pop it in

I'm pretty certain the engines are identical to look at. They put both in the MK3 Cavalier (and Fronteras too if memory serves), so I think the mounts are the same. Just change the ECU as well, as the wiring should be virtually identical too.

well all i have just got a new job which is good (was getting bored ) the trouble is that i have to work away pretty much all the time plus weekends so am going to leave the 1.5 in there
