so you got it then mic...

whats the plan.set of dimonds then off you go...

its a really good one to start with as a base, looks clean, little rust (they all have that)

i finally got round to looking at a early metal dash one to restore as a road (only) car.
we will see if he takes my offer. (same color as yours)

don't forget we are ALL here to be of assistance.

Thanks for the support :)

I'm gonna look into a welder after my hols but I don't really have anywhere to do it so thinking of a gasless welder and doing it there where it's parked :D there's a few parking spaces opposite that are a bit more enclosed as I'm not sure how legal or what the neighbours might say about welding in the street!

There's a hole under the carpet in the boot, a hole behind the wheel and the arches could do with tacking back together so it's only light stuff to repair.

It's gonna be for road use only I sold the mud tyres and got the road ones instead, I'm looking to make it a bit more comfy rather than 4x4.

it looks great and luckily it seems to have parabolic springs (single leaf on the front and 2 leafs on the back) which are supposed to be more comfy I'm jelous of the hard top, have you used it much? or does it not have an mot?

That looks like it'll be a tidy little truck once its finished. Thats a cool snorkle too 8-)

where are the front sidelights and indicators though??

I personally think you'll be better off with a gas mig and then just put up a wind break when you do it. it is easier to get good welds with gas and they will be stronger too.

An interior shot. notice the peg for the choke 8-) and the cd player wont fit fully back as the wiring loom hits the heater so sticks out! the gearstick doesnt hit it so i can live with it for now....
