Spanish Santana sj410 wiring diagram: please note Darrell and I have put a lot of time into this to tidy it up from the original copy we got hold of that was almost incomprehensible, Hopefully there aren't any errors

Both of the Spanish diagrams aren't great and it's hard to tell what the colours actually are, hopefully this will help in some cases, this is or the early spanish SJs with the PCB style fuseboard. Its the colours that leave each fuse, not the feed colours. Also in brackets at the end are possible alternative colours, I have a random spanish dash loom with those colours.

Fuse 1 Red. high beam
Fuse 2 Red-white. dip beam
Fuse 3 White. permanent live, horn, clock and interior light
Fuse 4 Green-silver. brake lights
Fuse 5 White-green. hazzards
Fuse 6 White-black aux
Fuse 7 Black-white. ignition live
Fuse 8 Brown-green Heater blower (Yellow-green)
Fuse 9 Yellow-green. Demister
Fuse 10 Brown-black Wipers (Yellow-green)
Fuse 11 Yellow. Reverse light
Fuse 12 Red-yellow, dash lights, number plate lights.(Red-green)
Fuse 13 Red-green, Right side and tail lights (Red-yellow)
Fuse 14 Brown-yellow, Left side and tail lights (Red-black)

Useful wiring diagram. Do you have one with the rear wiper motor and switch as the one I have found in my electronic haynes manual is not the best resolution scan, meaning that I can't see what colour wire goes where.

Don't mind if it is a black and white copy as long as i can see what the colours are.

Cheers,

Rob

Dam thats a pain thanks for looking though, I will try and work it out with a meter and see what I can get working.

What colour wires do you have there? There is a chance they used the same colours on The vitara. Some of suzukis wire colours are standardised, others are a mystery

I found this for the vitara. Wouldn't expect the sj to be much different. Hope it's some help.

I have at the switch, blue/back, blue, pink and white. Have worked out that the pink wire is the washer motor, so thats not a problem.

I think the white wire is the trigger for the wiper and one of the other two wires is the permanent power to the motor.

When i put a meter on the wires to try and work out which one is live with ignition on, i get a connection between both the positive and negative of the battery for the (i think blue and black wire).

I basically need to work out whats what and plug it into the switch somehow...

If someone has a rear wiper switch on their SJ a picture of the wires connected to the switch would probably sort the problem out.

Hope thats useful Scottie

Thanks Darrell for the diagram. It allows me to see what goes where, so hopefully with a meter and some working out whats what I can connect my switch up properly. Will let you know how I get on.

Your spanish wiring diagram is the only one I've seen and I only just spotted it

So I though it could do with a tidy up :D
Took me blooming ages :S

If you see any cockup's let me know ;)

Awesome, cheers Darrell, one of our members from Spain found it for me. I spent a good few hours cleaning up all the linework myself so I dread to think how many hours in total its had spent on it now. There is one fuse that was on the crease between the 2pages that I just need to work out where the wire goes and I think its finished!

Oh and what program do you always use to add the txt?
