Heya peeps. I'm still looking around for a 413 on eBay and the like, and the majority have some kind of lift kit.

I was just wondering how easy or hard it is to undo this kind of modification.

Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Body lift and shackles are just a matter of bolts.

SPOA is grinding and welding. If the original saddles have been removed you'd have to fabricate new. Id also recommend new springs as SPOA can turn standard spring to spagetti over a prolonged period of time. Its not major work but at the same not for the faint hearted. To keep all the steering geometry right it needs to be accurate. Easier to try n find standard axles to go back on. Again thats only if the orignal saddles have been removed.

If you buy a standard zuk you will eventually want to modify, thats a guarantee.

Okay, thanks. That's made life easier for me. I can undo Shackle and Body myself then, and I know a guy who can help with SPOA.

Cheers!

Id steer clear from SPOA trucks if you want to drop them back down again... it isnt as simple as just unbolting the springs and putting me back on the original saddles.

You need to think about shocks, prop spacers need removing, standard steering needs to be fitted, extended brake hoses may need shortening ect.

Shackles can just be unbolted as stated. However with shackle lift, they tend to kill the front springs and these often need to be replaced. This isnt a major issue, but something that i would take into consideration if i was doing it.

And as said above, modifications are bound to happen... its just a 4x4 thing. But dont be affraid to ask what the more experienced speak. Im not a great deal older than yourself, but have been playing with suzukis for over 7 years. I have learnt what does and dosent work, by finding out the hard way

Hehehehe. Don't worry, I'll ask anything that I have on my mind, hence I'm asking about suspension de-modding before I've even got the damn truck
