1.3 santana wire identification

Hey everyone looking to see if anyone knows what this wire is for.
I had connected it to the brown from coil for rev counter but didn't work. Dunno if it's a fault clocks side or if it's just the wrong wire
It comes through with the black/white wire for the positive to coil
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
